I understand Power Machines also manufactures the very large steam generators used for Rosatoms nuclear reactors and for thermal (gas and coal) steam generators . It is true steam generators are old technology and less efficient (perhaps 40%), but they are good enough to keep the lights on and with cheap surplus unexportable gas and coal are likely to be substantially cheaper and quicker to build than nuclear. So I think electricity generation is one area where "reverse industrialisation"(using old technology) is likely to work out for Russia. Of course it will not be so good for the Klimat.
