For the last few days I am continuously reading your articles. I strongly felt that your articles are bit one sided. They emphasis that there is no future for any country in this world those who don't abide by the rules of trade set by the West. Make no mistake , I am neither a pro-Russian nor pro-Western. Why do you think that Russia will not survive in this world, if it is not trading with West? What makes you to think that trading with other countries is a failure? Finally What happens if the collective West particularly EU fails to secure alternative energy?

In my latest book, called Klimat: Russia the Age of Climate Change, I have a chapter on Russia's efforts to get started with wind and solar. The EU has done a great deal in this domain, but the Russian efforts so far have been only half-hearted. Russia will remain the king of hydrocarbons. But will it be able to sell them in a future world of alternative energy? Best, TG
