Fake news. Huawei has NOT exited Russia (even if they offcially declared that).

I guess the rest of the text is the same quality.

Another factor here is that US export controls against China -- both those directed specifically against companies like Huawei and those directed more generally against China's access to leading edge semiconductor technology -- are starting to bite and will ensure both China (and by extension Russia to the extent it relies on Chinese backfill technology) remain a generation behind with the gap only growing.

Anyone who has been paying attention knows that the reason the United States provoked this ware was to damage russia economicallly and militarily and slow or stop its growth. So whatever Russia does sanctions will remain in force. But Russia like other countries the subject of Western hostility before it will learn to cope. Foreign Minister Lavrov has described sanctions as "a tax on independence". They actually started or rather were reinforced before the Russian invasion when Russia recognized the Donbass Republics then under a violent artillery bombardment of civilian areas.

Ass far as northern connectiivity is concerned, I believe a new cable has been laid all along the nothern corridor. I don't know if itt was finished by the time war broke out and I beleive a Norwegian company was involved.
